Five Things

(San Francisco, 2008)
Five things you might not know about me:

1. I get nervous very easily.  Sometimes I see/meet celebrities and bloggers (celebrities in my mind, haha) and I just act like a fool, turn red, stop talking completely, and my hands start to get clammy.  I wish I could fake it and act cool, but my flushed face gives it away.

2. I never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich until I was 12.

3. My favorite color is purple (see photo).

4. I crave Australian food all the time.  Meat pie, lollies, cordial, pavlova, you name it and I'll probably start salivating.  Except for Vegemite. Yuck.

5. I studied graphic design for almost four years and realized it wasn't really for me.  And now I work at a bookstore as a gift merchandiser until I can start working for myself.  Don't tell anyone, but I kind of like it!

Any random facts you'd like to share?

  1. My reactions? or somethings... to your random facts, haha

    1. I get nervous very easily too - but about the strangest things! & it's not exactly nervous, it's more just like inward freaking out to the highest degree. Some things that would make most people nervous - don't phase me. Other things that most people wouldn't bat an eyelash out - are the worst for me. & it's really easy for me to get a flushed face because my skin is particularly ghostlike, haha.

    2. I don't remember the first time I had a first pb&j, but it was very late because I always thought that I "didn't like jelly" - when I do, I was just weird.

    3. Purple is definitely one of my favorite colors too. There are so many people who hate the color, which is strange to me. At least there are so many people I KNOW who hate the color.

    4. I've never been to Australia (sadly) so I can't crave the food.

    5. I really still don't even know what I want to do in life exactly, so... there's that. Hahaha. Oh well, I'm happy.

  2. ditto on the embarrassment - i turn a ridiculous shade of red as well. and what makes me blush even more? knowing that i'm blushing. it's like a continuous cycle spurred by the most insignificant things.
