About Me

Hi, my name is Sara.  I'm 24 years old and live in Los Angeles, where I've lived the majority of my life.  Over the years I have amassed a multitude of hobbies such as sewing, cooking, doodling, painting, photography, calligraphy, gardening, crochet, jewelry making, baking... and the list goes on.  I enjoy doing all sorts of crafts and try to dip my toes into all different types of mediums.

Some of my favorite things (in addition to my hobbies) are good typography, delicious food, paper of all sorts (and pens to go with them), lace, dreamy photographs and illustrations, peonies, She & Him, and going on picnics.

One thing very near and dear to my heart is the environment, specifically making sure I am conscious of my actions to be as sustainable as possible.  My dream is cover art, crafts, gardening, and cooking with an emphasis on sustainability. I want to be the "eco-friendly version" of Martha Stewart.  I want to show that living sustainably doesn't have to mean living like a hippie, and that simple changes can make a positive impact on your life and the environment.

This is my personal blog that covers all of the above.  Although I might not mention it, I try to make sure my content reflects sustainability in all aspects, from shopping local and handmade to cooking at home.

Feel free to e-mail me (see sidebar), check my flickr, or add me on twitter.  Thank you for reading.
